St. Croix Golf
St. Croix is home to three golf courses: Carambola Golf Club, The Buccaneer Golf Course, and The Reef Golf Course. Carambola (809-778-5638), designed by Robert Trent Jones, is one of the best courses on St. Croix and perhaps in the entire Caribbean. This par 72 course features many challenging shots, especially on the tricky par 3 holes. Make reservations a day in advance. Equipment rentals, lessons, practice facilities, and a pro shop are all available here.
The Buccaneer (809-773-2100) is another highly-rated course, dramatically situated by the ocean. The par 71 course is also a good test of your shot-making skill. Make reservations to use the course, pro shop, and practice facilities.
The Reef Golf Course (809-773-8844) is a fun 9-hole course with panoramic views of Buck Island. You'll find it on the East End of the island, by Duggan's Reef.
