St. John Shopping
St. John doesn't offer a lot of shopping, but what's there is unique and special, and since cruise ships don't stop on St. John, you won't have to fight the mobs. Most of the shops are in a woodsy area of Cruz Bay called Mongoose Junction. You'll also want to visit Wharfside Village, a few steps from where the ferries depart. A collection of boutiques is here along with some restaurants and bars.
The last Saturday of every month is St. John Saturday, a colorful feast for the senses that begins early in the morning in the center of Cruz Bay and reaches across the park. Vendors sell all kinds of local wares, from handmade jewelry to clothing and handicrafts, and especially foods made from local ingredients. It's a shopping experience you won't want to miss!
