St. John, like the rest of the US Virgin Islands, has communications systems that are up to date with modern standards, so staying in touch with the rest of the world (should you so desire) is relatively easy.
The phone system on St. John is the same as that used in the states, with an area code plus 7 digits. Most villas have telephones that are capable of making calls overseas, and many St. John villa rentals come equipped with internet-accessible computers or wireless connections.
Many of the villas on St. John provide high-speed Internet access. Nearly all of our St. John villas have televisions, allowing access to local, national, and international networks.
