The island offers a year-round warm and sunny tropical climate, with average temperatures from 66-89°F in January to 72-89°F in July. The cooler and rainier months are August through November, when vegetation thrives and creates a "Caribbean Emerald Isle." In general, rainstorms pass quickly and the sun shines on most days. Hurricanes may occur any time from June through November, but your actual odds of experiencing a hurricane are very low even if you do travel during this time.
