Turks and Caicos


The Turks and Caicos islands are most famous for the reef system that surrounds them, having been named as one of the most popular dive destinations worldwide. The Turks and Caicos are actually composed of 40 different islands, only 8 of which are inhabited. The most well-known of these is Providenciales (also known as Provo), which is the center of the tourism industry. All of the islands offer a superb climate, amazing beaches, and unbelievable underwater activities throughout the year.

Entry Requirements:
Entry requirements vary for each destination; it is your responsibility to verify you have the correct documents prior to travel. After 31 December 2006 a valid passport is required for travel to all the Caribbean and Mexico.

Time Zone:
The Turks and Caicos is on Eastern Standard Time, with Daylight Savings Time from April through October.

Cars drive on the left-hand side of the road on Turks and Caicos.

Electricity follows the US standard: 120/240 V, 60 Hz.
