Virgin Gorda Shopping
The British Virgin Islands aren't known for their shopping. Unfortunately, there's no duty-free shopping here. You may be able to find some good buys in English china, which is imported from England duty-free. The liquor bargains aren't great, but prices can be slightly better than at home.
Most of Virgin Gorda's shopping takes place at the resort hotels, but there are also some pleasant shops at the yacht harbor in Spanish Town. Look for jewelry, perfume, cotton dresses, swimwear, and native handicrafts.
If you plan to eat in at your villa, consider visiting The Chef's Pantry at Leverick Bay. They stock fresh produce, meats, and seafood as well as fresh baked goods and a wide variety of deli meats and cheeses. For your staples, Buck's Supermarket should also be fairly well-stocked.
