For those interested in Caribbean golf destinations, Villa Catalina is located near two magnificent courses; Playa Dorada and Playa Grande, both designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The Playa Grande course is known as the “Pebble Beach of the Caribbean” and is located approximately one hour from the villa. Playa Dorada is approximately half an hour from the villa and, while not as pristine as Playa Grande, is a very nice course itself.
Villa Catalina is located within Sea Horse Ranch, the most well-known of the villa developments on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Within Sea Horse Ranch are many services and activities available only to residents or their guests. From bicycling to tennis to a world class equestrian center, Sea Horse Ranch offers an array of activities you can enjoy (priced separately) while you are on vacation at Villa Catalina.
Staff included with the rental of Villa Catalina includes daily maid services, gardeners and a professional management overseen by Sea Horse Ranch. Additional staff, such as a private chef, driver, butler/bartender and /or guides is available for an additional fee. Spa services, shopping services and more are also available. A mandatory staff gratuity is also required.
