Description
Your private tropical paradise is located on a residential avenue of BANI only 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to the center of the town. BANI has yet to be discovered by tourists and has kept its authentic relaxed atmosphere. At the end of your avenue arrive every morning the fisher boats and for a couple of pesos you choose your fresh dorade.Only 10 minutes walk from your villa is the local daily market; enjoy an excellent meal in one of the restaurants for less than US$ 5...
BANI is the gateway to the virgin and unspoiled southwest coast of enchanting beauty. The CORDILLERA CENTRAL with mountains of more than 10,000 feet is a one hour drive from your villa. In a short time you will escape from the tropical heat and have the impression that you are in the Swiss Alps, after having crossed coffee, cacao and tabacco plantations. Protected by this mountain chain, BANI benefits from the most sunny and dry climate of the Dominican Republic. The capital SANTO DOMINGO is a 30 minute drive from your villa; you will be captivated by the old colonial area founded in 1496 by the youngest brother of Christopher Columbus.
The villa has been recently completely renovated and very elegantly decorated. Everything is new and functional.
The shallow pool is ideal and safe for children while adults will enjoy the second large pool. The private tennis court is lighted. There is a playground for the children with swings and slides as well as badminton, volley ball (the equipment and nets which are supplied take just a few minutes to set up). There is also a trampoline.
If you desire the sea our private skipper can bring you with his typical fisher boat in 20 minutes to unspoiled beaches with cristal clear water where you will meet no tourists but some local fishermen and pelicans.
Your Dominican neighbours will not take a long time to invite you for a coffee or a drink.Quite a contrast with the usual "ghetto" tourist resorts and gated communities where you have no contact with the real Dominican life and their legendary hospitality and kindness.
The villa is provided with a very friendly good trained Dominican staff who can take care of everything - including preparing you delicious Dominican specialities.A night watchman will take care of your security or open the gate when you come home late from one of the numerous latin dancings in town....
Bani is an authentic Dominican town of 100.000 inhabitants and not yet discovered by the tourists but only by connaisseurs. BANI is known for producing the best mangos of the country and its delicious sweets and candies.
BANI is considered as the cleanest town of the country and pleasant to walk with lots of tree-shaded parks. You will meet no tourists but very friendly Dominicans always willing to help you.
Every day a typical market, excellent local restaurants where you enjoy a good meal for less than US$ 5, local and international shops etc. Bani has a lot to offer to you and at very friendly "no tourist" prices.
