Description
Spyglass Hill is a former plantation house and one of the largest properties in this collection. Its 10 acres are composed of beautiful expanses of soft lawn and lush tropical gardens. But most spectacular is its unparalleled panorama of the Caribbean Sea.
The original plantation house has four air-conditioned bedrooms, large living room, fanciful hand-painted dining room, large kitchen ~ and several verandahs, porches and terraces. Four more very private bedrooms are a short walk across the lawn. These include Tree House, Garden Room and two-bedroom River House. Home-cooked breakfasts for all on the lawn are photo opportunities every morning. Notable at Spyglass Hill is our renowned cook, Linnet. Every meal becomes a delicious memory of vacationing here.
Three private pools are designed for an entire household, children or more private dips by two or four guests. At the Main House are a deep 20' x 40' pool (with pool volleyball net on request) and an adjacent 24” deep children’s wading pool. At River House is a private 10' x 13' plunge pool.
The grounds, gazebo and amazing view make Spyglass Hill an exquisite wedding site. Brides Magazine chose Spyglass Hill for several photo shoots, and many brides and grooms have wonderful memories of their own sunset ceremonies. For larger wedding parties, sister house Sea Island is just down the hill, and Destiny Villa is just up the hill.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All eight bedrooms have televisions and private en-suite bathrooms. Seven bedrooms are air conditioned.
MAIN HOUSE ~ 4 BEDROOMS
Master Bedroom
Kingsize bed, large walk-in shower, double basin vanity, private porch for eye-opener coffee and ocean view.
Bedroom 2
Kingsize bed, walk-in shower, opens to large furnished porch with ceiling fans and wonderful ocean view.
Bedroom 3
Queensize bed, walk-in shower, garden and partial ocean view.
Bedroom 4
Queensize bed, large walk-in shower also suitable as a bathtub, garden and pool view.
OUTLYING ROOMS ~ 4 MORE BEDROOMS
A short walk across the lawn leads to four more bedrooms.
TREE HOUSE
Charming and spacious king-bedded hideaway, large walk-in shower, all-around shutters that open to panoramic ocean view. A separate world for those who want romance and privacy.
GARDEN ROOM
Next door to Tree House. Queensize bed plus twin bed, walk-in shower, all-around shutters, garden view.
RIVER HOUSE
A short distance down a stone stairway bordered by banana trees, River House is an extremely private 2,000-square-foot two-level cottage for four or more additional guests. It has its own plunge pool.
Upstairs
Kingsize bed in spacious hideaway with all-around shutters, large walk-in shower, fabulous ocean view. Large, private and romantic. Living/bedroom area adjoins a 9' x 12' child’s room with one twin bed.
Downstairs
Queensize bed, walk-in shower also suitable as a bathtub, opens to stone terrace in tropical landscape over river ravine. This is the only un-air-conditioned bedroom as it enjoys cool mountain air flowing down the river.

CHRISTMAS WEEK is defined as Dec 20-27, Dec 21-28 or Dec 22-29. NEW YEAR'S WEEK is defined as Dec 27-Jan 3, Dec 28-Jan 4 or Dec 29-Jan 5
