Description
La Fleur des Pitons is a 4,200 sq. ft. “plantation” style home nestled on a breath-taking site on the high ridge ( 1000 ft.) between the Pitons of St. Lucia. The house enjoys not only a unique view of both Pitons and the Caribbean Sea, but also it benefits from the cooling Tradewind sea breezes.
Completed in January 2007, the house and its adjacent cottage, La Petite Fleur, enjoy every amenity.
The home has a 30ft by 30ft. Great Room surrounded on three sides with tall louvred doors, each opening onto a 10ft. covered verandah with sweeping views. The Great Room is ideal for relaxing and dining ( table seats 10) with its high vaulted wood ceilings, Bose speakers in each corner and attractive, locally made furniture.
The South verandah faces a 30ft long stone waterfall – the views and sounds can be enjoyed both inside and outside.
Outside the West verandah is a 40ft. by 12ft. infinity pool which gives the illusion of spilling down the hillside, emphasizing the 1000ft. drop to the Caribbean Sea below. One end of the pool deck is an alfresco dining area: the other end is a sun deck fully equipped with chaises for sun lovers. A shower / bathroom is situated off the pool area.
Attached to the Great Room is an open plan kitchen with a 12ft. tile topped breakfast bar with stools for casual dining. The kitchen is fully equipped modern appliances including a side by side refrigerator with ice maker, stove, dishwasher, microwave and an electric coffee maker.
There is a telephone and computer area off the bar.
The main house has two spacious bedrooms with high vaulted ceilings and its own balcony – one is situated on the ground floor and one upstairs. Each bedroom has a king size, four poster bed with a walk in closet, a safe, a wet bar with small refrigerator and electric kettle, ensuite bathroom and a comfortable seating area with a desk and internet service and telephone.
You can enjoy your morning coffee seated on the bedroom balcony with the backdrop of the Pitons.
A separate guest cottage, 740 sq.ft., set in its own grounds completes this property. This cottage can be rented with the main house or as a stand alone property. The cottage has a large studio room with a queen size, four poster bed, sitting area and a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric coffee maker and a toaster oven. The unusual bathroom has a private outdoor shower area, plus a walk in closet and safe. The studio opens onto a roomy verandah with an incomparable view of the Pitons. This area is furnished for alfresco dining and sun bathing. There is a 10ft by 12ft. plunge pool.
Soufriere is the third town of St. Lucia. It is a one and a half hour drive from Castries / George Charles Airport and a 45 minute drive from Hewanorra Airport. Soufriere boasts the drive-in volcano, the health-giving mineral baths, and the scenic Pitons which are situated in a designated World Heritage site. Anse Chastanet, a nearby beach, is renowned for its excellent snorkeling and scuba diving. There are varied restaurants in this area; from quaint local bistros to gourmet restaurants situated in the nearby hotels.

- Bookings of 21 nights or longer have a 10% reduction on all villa rates.
- Rentals over Jazz Festival require a 5 night minimum and are subject to a 10% supplement.

- Christmas 10 to 14 night minimum depending on dates and villa.
- A supplement is applicable on Christmas/New Years and all other special events /periods:

- 10% supplement applicable on all special events and a minimum of 5 nights required for any reservations that include any of these dates

Rental Notes
- A couple, residential in their own cottage on the property – Fabrice and Shaka - who will take care of all your needs and are on duty 6 days a week from 8.30am to 4.00pm. They will work evenings by personal arrangement with the guests at the villa.
