Description
Villa Majesty is a modern "West Indies Greathouse" that is built in a traditional west indies architecture that combines indoor and outdoor living under one roof. A greathouse is a particular style of architecture particular to the West indies. It is an estate house, a villa, built spaciously to accommodate family groups. It is also designed to house family groups most comfortably.
Villa Majesty is a graciously comfortable and harmonious tradition of indoor-outdoor relaxation. Art deco ceilings, sconce lighting, stone-faced circular stairs, mahogany rails and four-poster beds, all depict authentic island living. This elegant four bedroom, four beth villa is perched on a ridge between two nearby beaches - just a three minute drive to either Brewer's Bay or Cane Garden Bay.
Majesty is cool, breezy and picturesque year round. Its location offers a panoramic view of Tortola's tranquil north shore and view to Jost van Dyke. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows make outdoor views ever present from every room. Thematic local artwork gives each room a specific flavor.
Villa Majesty is ideal for groups of 4-8 guests. There are 2 floors, each with 2 bedroom suites. There are 2 master suites with private patios. One has a large Jacuzzi and the other has an outdoor rooftop shower. Shaded verandas and sundecks abound.
A booking may consist of 1-8 persons. That booking will pay for the # of suites occupied. All of the common area is committed in privacy to that guest or group even if its 1-2 guests in the villa using 1 suite. The suites not paid for are simply locked off; only one party is booked at a time.
The villa is ideal for a genuine family reunion - sleeping in privacy, cooking and eating together, viewing spectacular sunsets and reminiscing together. A genuine west indies greathouse vacation. Each suite has its own bath and balcony. No bedroom adjoins another. They are situated at the extreme eastern and western ends of the building.
The shared communal spaces are spacious and open and located in the center of the house between the bedroom suites.
Common areas consist of:
Interior: laundry, living, dining, den, kitchen, reading balcony, powder room.
Exterior: upper level sun deck, lower level Sun deck, wrap-around canopied veranda, dining and barbQ areas. (Pool underway)
Villa Majesty is fully equipped with DSL wireless internet access, electronics, kitchen, laundry, private parking and a resident caretaker/concierge.
This is a nature lover's resort. Incredible scenery is a daily delight - sunrise, sunsets, rainbows, moonlight birds and boats. As you enter the shaded wrap-around patio, majestic hills and ocean surround you. A sun deck extends from the patio.
