Located on the lush West End of Tortola, set amidst jasmine and bougainvillea, Limin' House awaits. Upon entering you will pass through grand wooden doors set in a stone arch reminiscent of Caribbean ruins, then on through a canopy of palms and into a new tranquility.
Revive your body and soul beneath the cascading waters of the outdoor stone showers and gaze at the Milky Way or the lights of the yachts in the bay below. Lounge in the pool sipping tropical drinks while listening to music from the eclectic collection of jazz, reggae, blues, world, rock or classical.
With meals prepared in the carefully appointed kitchen or on the gas barbecue, you can dine on the covered verandah and view the sparkling lights of St. Thomas in the distance.
The furnishings are all of top quality...designed in collaboration with Linda Warren, of Warren-Sutton, Inc. NYC. Other ventures of theirs include Peter Island and Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda. There are unique pieces by contemporary names such as Michael Taylor, McGuire, and Pompeii. Also included, are a few antique pieces of Balinese, Italian and French origin. The overall feel is elegant, but completely relaxed and very low maintenance. Wood, metal and canvas pieces were chosen for durability in the tropical climate.
Retire in the casual elegance of the living room or on any of the private patios and balconies to reflect upon a memorable day.
After filling your senses, fall asleep in the coolness of one of the three air conditioned bedrooms. All have ceiling fans, CDplayers, TV/VCR and/or DVD players. Cable TV is available in the livingroom and master bedroom.
No matter how much time you spend limin', rest assured you will leave with your body warmed by the sun and your spirit renewed with a peace that will linger long after the scent of jasmine has faded.
