Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson’s private island paradise, is situated in the British Virgin Islands, a stunning and unspoilt area of the Caribbean. At 74 acres, Necker sits in turquoise waters surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with beautiful white sandy beaches. Necker can become your own private hideaway, an island all of your own away from the stresses and strains of daily life where you dictate the pace and the mood. With a maximum capacity of 26-28 guests Necker can be hired privately or if you’re not looking to hire the Island all on your own, you can still enjoy the Necker experience during Celebration Weeks when individual rooms can be booked by singles or couples to enjoy our fabulous Island paradise ’house party’ style.
Accommodations:
The Great House at the top of the hill This majestic, airy Balinese villa sits on Devils Hill and boasts panoramic views of the Caribbean, Atlantic and neighbouring islands. The rooms each have a balcony (some shared), king size beds with mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms (without baths). On the upper level is the Master Suite complete with outdoor Jacuzzi, outdoor bath and a home entertainment system. All rooms can be twin, single or double however the Master Suite bed does not split into a twin. The Great House is also equipped with a state-of-theart kitchen, from which our resident chefs prepare their famous dishes. There is a fully-stocked bar where you will be served by our staff, or you can help yourself. The Great Room is the hub of the Island, complete with snooker table, piano, lots of comfortable sofas and cushions and entertainment system with a large range of CDs and DVDs. The Great Room is surrounded by an outdoor terrace with hammocks, sofas and some of the best views in the Caribbean.
Almost on the edge of the island and adjacent to Bali Cliff, Bali Hi is a three tiered Balinese house offering secluded and private accommodation. The ground floor lounge area has a TV and Hi-Fi system and the top floor is a cushioned relaxation area with spectacular views along Turtle Beach. Alongside the house is a plunge pool and an outdoor veranda, with fridge and day beds. Next to Bali Hi is another double room with private entrance and sun deck called Bali Beach with stunning views of the ocean. Bali Hi and Bali Beach can accommodate two separate couples.
Situated in the middle of the island in complete privacy and seclusion, Bali Lo is a three tiered Balinese house offering private accommodation. On the ground floor is a lounge area with TV and Hi-Fi system. The top floor is a cushioned relaxation room. Bali Buah, the Indonesian name for fruit, is built adjacent to Bali Lo. This beautiful double room has an ensuite below and large balcony affording stunning view of the fruit trees. Guests staying at Bali Lo and Bali Buah can share the freshwater swimming pool.
Adjacent to Bali Hi is Bali Cliff, which has to be one of the most romantic settings you’re ever likely to experience. Bali Cliff perches on the edge of the island facing out to sea and has a double bedroom and open air bathroom, maximising the views and sounds of the ocean. Lie in bed and hear the waves lapping beneath you - nothing can compare!
Food & Beverage:
Fine food is the highlight of any guests stay and our rates are fully inclusive of all food and all beverages, including champagne. Guests can set the menu and times of meals – or this can be left up to us. Our wonderful chefs prepare food that we have become famous for and it is up to guests whether they want to dine on lobster and caviar or sausage and mash! Dining can be formal or informal, inside or outside, themed or traditional, on the beach, in the pool or under the stars, we are pretty creative! Ask us for some ideas or give us yours. We stock a fine range of international wines, top quality spirits, international beers and excellent house champagne. If you would like us to ship in something special, simply give us plenty of notice – there is generally no extra charge unless the item is particularly rare or extra shipping is involved. No limit is placed on the amount of food or beverage consumed and guests are encouraged to treat Necker like their own home, therefore they are welcome to help themselves to anything they want, any time.
