Rate Notes
- The air conditioning is metered in order to discourage use with the doors and windows open. It is not expensive if used judiciously and you are not charged for the first $150 per week in usage, after which it is charged at the current rate – appx 55 cents per KWH. There is a separate, easy to read, digital AC meter located on the east side of the house where you may monitor AC usage if you wish. The owners want you to be comfortable; not wasteful.

Nutmeg Cottage has all the magic words! Beachfront – your own pool – 1 bedroom, 1 bath - privacy – perfect location and it is just a short walk to 5 different restaurants and bars, Turtle Cove Marina offering all water sports, Players Club Casino, Limited shopping, and just outside your back door you can swim to Smith’s Reef, noted to be the best snorkeling by the shore that you can swim right out to!
Even though the beach and great snorkeling is just outside your back door, you may find it difficult to pull yourself away from this serene and private setting. The living room at Nutmeg Cottage has high beamed ceilings, an interior hand-cut stone wall, high quality
eclectic furnishings, and of course TV, Stereo, CD/DVD player, and wireless internet at no charge.
And of course a complete gourmet kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, smooth-top range, blender, coffee maker.
The bedroom at Nutmeg Cottage has a king bed, a large flat screen TV, CD/DVD player. The bathroom at Nutmeg has granite counter tops, and high-quality fixtures
If you get tired of sitting on the beach, sitting by the pool, or enjoying the great views from the two-story gazebo, have a go in the hammock under a thatched roof.
There is one picture from the hammock looking toward the house; the other direction just includes palm trees and beautiful tropical landscaping.
The beach in front of Nutmeg is sugar-white sand and goes for miles and miles. NOTE: there is a strip of beachrock at the water’s edge and water-shoes are advised when crossing this rocky strip. The rocks disappear altogether approximately 70 yards down the beach
