Rental Notes
- The air conditioning is metered in order to discourage use with the doors and windows open. It is not expensive if used judiciously and you are not charged for the first $150 per week in usage, after which there is a charge of 28 cents per kilowatt hour. There is a separate, easy to read, digital AC meter in the laundry room where you may monitor AC usage if you wish. There are 6 separate air conditioning systems in this villa, so you only need to cool certain parts as needed.

Vieux Caribe (pronounced view caribe) recalls the days of yore when leisure time was spent under slow moving fans with palm fronds casting long shadows in the quiet afternoon and soft conversations enjoyed while having cool drinks as condensation forms on your glass. This peaceful setting still exists at Villa Vieux Caribe, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, where an atmosphere of distinctive graciousness exists throughout.
Completed in the year 2000, Villa Vieux Caribe appears to have stood for centuries, but all modern amenities are contained within. The villa has 5 master bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. There is also an optional separate two-bedroom suite available in the event you need more than 5 bedrooms.
Its ideal location, superb setting, and delightful architectural design with an exterior of hand-cut native stone, combine to make Villa Vieux Caribe a truly exceptional estate. While enjoying the peaceful luxury of this grand villa, Villa Vieux Caribe is within easy reach of island amenities including tennis, golf, a casino, fine dining, casual dining, scuba, fishing, sailing, and all water sports.
Each bedroom at Villa Vieux Caribe opens onto a covered deck affording spectacular vistas of sea, sky, land and sunsets all meeting in dazzling prospect. Each of the 5 bedrooms opens to a deck overlooking the pool and the sea.
The grounds at Villa Vieux Caribe offer you a blast of color in all directions. In addition to the villa's dining room there is an outside dining area where you can dine and enjoy the views. Villa Vieux Caribe has a gourmet kitchen, BBQ grill, washer, dryer, two hammocks, a large freshwater pool and more. The dining table at Villa Vieux Caribe seats 8, plus 4 more on an adjoining table. There is also a table for outside dining. Villa Vieux Caribe has a large two-story living room with French doors opening onto the large pool terrace, which has a cabana and wet bar. Antique, unique and eclectic furnishings compliment the dramatic ceiling heights and interior balconies. There is a 33-channel cable TV in each bedroom and the living room has a TV, a six carousel CD player, and a DVD player. There is also high-speed Internet service.
Each bedroom has a beamed ceiling. High quality teak, antique, and eclectic furnishings dominate every room. Each bedroom has a 33 channel TV, and each bedroom has its own, large en-suite bathroom. Each of the five large en-suite bathrooms has two sinks and double or wall to wall mirrors.
The villa was designed for natural cross ventilation and there are ceiling fans in each room. This villa has an optional two-bedroom separate suite (available only to guests booking the main house).
Villa Vieux Caribe gets a comfortable, almost constant trade wind, so it would be rare to exceed the AC allotment.
